ACTIVITIES
"Forget the high cost of lodging/meals, NO VACANCY signs, and skiing alone. As a member of the Hickory Hawks you will be part of a small, friendly group of skiers/riders of all abilities, ages ranging from 20's to 70's. The club is in Glen, NH, at the intersection of 16 & 302. Our clubhouse is an old "turn of the century" railroad station and is one large, open space with a full kitchen, TV, couches, fireplace and bar. It is walking distance to the Red Parka Pub (live music, good food), a supermarket, ATM, gas station/post office/convenience store and a breakfast place.
At the Hawks our bunkhouse is a quiet, separate building - away from the noise of the clubhouse. The 1st floor is women's and the 2nd floor is co-ed with communal bathrooms on both floors.
There are many mountains, all within an hour's drive:
Cranmore -10 minutes
Black - 15 minutes
Attitash - 5 minutes
Bretton Woods - 30 minutes
Wildcat - 20 minutes
Sunday River - 50 minutes
Besides downhill, there is also cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, tubing (at Cranmore and Great Glen Trails), outlet shopping, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, etc. and our members enjoy it all, year round for one low membership fee. JOIN NOW AND BE A PART OF THE HICKORY HAWKS FAMILY!
