NHSSC Elections for the 2026/2027 BOD - May 11, 2026 - 7:30PM - IN-PERSON MEETING - MAIN STREET GRILL & TAPHOUSE, 1099 Main St., Wakefield, MA (NOTE DEADLINE BELOW)

Only the EICSL representatives for each club that are on record with the EICSL secretary may vote. Each NHSSC club can designate 2 representatives, and an alternate. Each club can cast up to 2 votes. If you are not sure who you have designated as your EICSL reps, or if you would like to assign alternates, please email me at [email protected] . Alternate or other designated person can be assigned by your club President by sending an email to mailto:[email protected] so new person can be noted as available to vote. THIS MUST BE DONE IN ADVANCE OF THE VOTING MEETING TO BE VALID.
Maybe you want to get more involved with the league in other ways, why not express your interest in being your club's NHSSC Rep and you can come to meetings and see what's involved. We are always looking for volunteers to help out with committees and other fun stuff like helping the XC Ski Committee as a trip leader so there are a lot of different ways you can get involved! END OF SEASON RACE BANQUET AND AWARDS CEREMONY - 4/18/26 - 1PM - 3PM
Greetings Racers and Race Fans! Congratulations on a great Race season... and hopefully to continue to have races on Saturday!! It’s time to celebrate with your fellow racers at our year end Race Banquet and Awards Ceremony. This year’s festivities will be Saturday, April 18 from 1-3pm at the Clipped Wings Ski Club. Light snacks, water and soft drinks will be provided. Open to EICSL Racers, EICSL Members & Guests with ID or Guest Pass. Hope to see you at the Clipped Wings Saturday, April 18 at 1pm. Also bring $10 cash, check or venmo if you want to buy one or more of the EICSL Race Bibs. Will have bibs #2-100 along with some blanks ones for purchase. Proceeds to be put back into the race budget. After the race festivities, don't forget to head over to the Innotou's Spring Fling later the same day from 4-7 for their annual spring season kickoff! Party ticket, ID/guest pass required.
Patrick McKerley Go-Fund-Me
Patrick was instrumental in helping us race at Bretton Woods over the years including the TGIF Program which many of our members participate in. If you knew Patrick, he always had time to talk and was an all round great buy. Patrick passed away at the age of 45 after a battle with cancer. A scholarship fund has been established to support aspiring young skiers of the Bretton Woods Ski Team. Craig Gilleland - In Memory Program at the Vietnam Wall
On June 20, 2026 there is a scheduled ceremony at the Vietnam Wall in Washington DC. During this ceremony former EICSL President Craig Gilleland will be inducted into the In Memory Program at the Vietnam Wall. Craig served 2 terms as EICSL President, serving from 1988- 1991. He also served many years on the EICSL Board. Craig sadly passed away on November 17, 2023 at the age of 72. His name already appears on line on the Vietnam Veteran In Memory Honor Roll, IN MEMORY HONOR ROLL - Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund . This is a much deserved honor for Craig.

LET'S HELP EACH OTHER OUT!
We are looking to promote our members staying at each other's clubs when it makes sense. Nothing going on at your club or it's family time at your club, why not stay at one of the other clubs? On a super-busy weekend why not help another club out by giving them any overflow that you cannot accommodate, whether it be members or guests. In the past most clubs offered members from other clubs a reciprocal rate of less than their guest fee. We are looking to formalize this practice by asking clubs to honor this +and by charging those members $20 or something similar. Guest fees will of course remain what you currently charge. This will always be with the understanding that the club member reaches out in advance to the club they want to stay at and follow their reservation process for planning purposes..
